The Intel Atom N455 was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in June 2010. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Pineview architecture with BGA 559. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 2 threads. Atom N455 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1667 MHz. Intel is building the Atom N455 on a 45 nm production process using 123 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom N455, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 7 W, the Atom N455 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR2 and DDR3 memory. This processor features the GMA 3150 integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
