The AMD Sempron LE-1100 was a desktop processor with 1 core, launched in August 2007. It is part of the Sempron lineup, using the Sparta architecture with Socket AM2. Sempron LE-1100 has 256 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1900 MHz. AMD is making the Sempron LE-1100 on a 65 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. The multiplier is locked on Sempron LE-1100, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 45 W, the Sempron LE-1100 consumes typical power levels for a modern PC. For communication with other components in the computer, Sempron LE-1100 uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection. Although the processor doesn't come with integrated graphics, certain motherboards with compatible chipsets can provide this capability.
The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
