The Intel Pentium G850 was a desktop processor with 2 cores, launched in May 2011. It is part of the Pentium lineup, using the Sandy Bridge architecture with Socket 1155. Pentium G850 has 3 MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.9 GHz. Intel is making the Pentium G850 on a 32 nm production node using 504 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium G850, which limits its overclocking potential.
