The Intel Pentium 350 was a server/workstation processor with 2 cores, launched in November 2011. It is part of the Pentium lineup, using the Sandy Bridge architecture with Socket 1155. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 4 threads. Pentium 350 has 3 MB of L3 cache and operates at 1200 MHz. Intel is building the Pentium 350 on a 32 nm production process using 504 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Pentium 350, which limits its overclocking capabilities.
With a TDP of 15 W, the Pentium 350 consumes very little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. For communication with other components in the machine, Pentium 350 uses a PCI-Express Gen 3 connection. This processor lacks integrated graphics, you might need a graphics card.
Hardware virtualization is available on the Pentium 350, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
