Acronis® True Image Home 2009 provides complete PC protection: back up your entire Windows® -based PC,
plus your data, applications, settings and OS. Acronis True Image Home 2009 is a comprehensive backup and recovery

solution that protects your PC with less work on your part and allows you to recover from the impact of viruses, unstable software

downloads and failed hard drives. Changes introduced in Acronis True Image Home 2009 beta when compared with Acronis True Image

Home 11 are described in documentation for the product, which can be downloaded with the build version

Minimum system requirements

Acronis True Image Home requires the following hardware:

· Pentium processor or higher
· 128 MB RAM
· CD-RW/DVD-RW drive for bootable media creation
· Mouse or other pointing device (recommended).
Supported operating systems

· Windows® 2000 Professional SP 4
· Windows XP SP 2, SP 3
· Windows XP Professional x64 Edition
· Windows Vista (all editions)

Known issues and limitations of the version:

1. Upgrading from ATIH 11 to ATIH 2009 is not functional. Uninstall ATIH 11 prior to installing ATIH 009
2. Certain rare actions with Active Restore and Try&Decide may lead to your OS not booting,
3. Installing ATIH 2009 on Windows 2000 is not supported in the current build
4. Acronis True Image Home is unable to search:

Archives in zip and tib format on removable media

Archives in zip compressed format using GDS and WDS

5. Archive to various places (AVP) does not work with FTP Server and ASZ.
6. Acronis True Image Home doesn’t support backing up in zip compressed format to CD/DVD.
7. During writing backup to CD\DVD, the progress bar hangs.
8. Acronis True Image Home can re-mount (in read mode) a particular backup numerous times without un-mounting.
9. Acronis True Image Home does not backup shortcut files, but rather, the resource being referenced by the shortcut.
10. Acronis True Image Home does not support GUID Partition Table (GPT) and Dynamic Disks.
11. When Drive Cleanser is ran to securely destroy data on selected partitions and/or disks with FAT16 or FAT32 file system, the explorer may display

folders and files after destroy data
