Call MS to re-activate. No problem. I've done it several times after upgrading.

+1 - whenever i need to move an OEM install to a new machine i tell the MS rep that i blew my old mobo up, they have no problem with it.

its an automated phone system when you activate... just tell the truth (IE- this version of windows is only on one computer) and youll get an activation code to enter ;)

yeah i had a P5K-E as well, the P5Q-E is fairly similar. i think its got a few less features (no E-sata, no onboard wifi?) but its a solid board.
I'm not sure, but i know some of the P5Q series lack crossfire support as well. (i think thats the lower down models)

I'm still running my trusty rampage. I was considering upgrading, but my system runs so well for everything I need it to do that I spent the money on a new ATV for my wife. lol

Yes, the OEM version is tied down to the motherboard. However, the licence can be transferred to a new motherboard if the original fails.
