Different sources like XbitLabs (http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/cpu/display/20041024065310.html) or the german HardTecs4U (http://www.hardtecs4u.com/?id=1098622020,95379,ht4u.php) tell us that AMD is definitely having much less problems with 90nm then Intel does. Instead of the many forecasts the TDP (Thermal Design Power = heat dissipation under load) didn't raise. It went down considerable from 89W to 67W under load. But go on and read for yourself.
