Hi guys, I have another rig at home and I've always went with Nvidia. Though i saw a 4670 on sale for $55 dollars and i'm buying the card on Monday. The 4670 is a good budget card, but since I have always been with Nvidia and never with ATi how will I uninstall the Nvidia drivers and then install the ATi drivers? Thanks:):toast::D

physX should stay, the rest will go with the one entry in add/remove.
Some people advocate using special driver cleaning tools, but personally i've never had problems - and i never use those tools. I think theres a link there (those tools break more than they fix)

Ok great. Sounds like it won't be as hard as I thought:) Just one more thing. As you said Physx will stay when I uninstall the drivers, though I'll uninstall physx aswell?

I just use add/remove in the CP as well, the only difference is that I usually run ccleaner on my registry afterward to remove the key it added, it's not necessary, though... I just don't want to slow my boot time any.

no i'm telling you to keep PhysX deliberately. it works on non Nvidia cards in software mode, and is a requirement for some games.
