Love the case/lighting. How is the overclocking on that board? I am considering getting one.

meh the overclocking isnt very good on the motherboard... very easy to do minor overclocks, it doesnt have alot of options... id stay away from it, im going to pick up a DFI LP board dono if i want to go sli or crossfire in the future

May 14, 2006, 07:48 PM
yeah it is pritty hard to hide the wires becasue the come up on the opposite side of the mobo so you cant put everything flat behind the 5 1/2 bay, but yeah i spent some time on it

Its not "upside down", its BTX form factor instead of ATX, which is basically reversed of normal mobo/case designs. I dont see major advatages, but i may be wrong.

No, it's not BTX, it's still ATX, just upside down. There's a difference in placement of PCI/E cards and such on a BTX.

yeah its soposed to isolate heat sources and cool them seperatly, wich it does a very good job at, except the the grfx card wasnt getting any fresh air, so i put the 2 80mm fans in, im getting almost the same temps as water cooling now!
Azn Tr14dZ
May 15, 2006, 05:55 AM
Yeah! Go BigD! i wish I had the same temps as water cooling but i have a pentium D @3.3 GHZ and it's hot as hell! So, water cooling here I come!
BigD6997

yeah water cooling is great, but on my bigwater 745 the pump broke and the resivor cracked.. lol, and they wouldnt replace it cuz they said they dont know if i dropped it or sumthing cuz its "physical" damage
