Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650.

I have never shopped at Newegg before. How reliable is their service?
And am I guaranteed a NON-DEFECTIVE product?

Do I receive a BRAND NEW, never used CPU?

newegg is pretty recommendable as the majority of (US) users here shop off it...
I have never shopped at Newegg before either, and I don't know how reliable their service is.
Rowsol, if you'd like to lol at me, too, feel free.

But yeah its a big, recognized shop, I've read about it here on TPU a lot and yes if you buy new, you receive new.

Reliable. They usually ship same or next day and the cheapest method of shipping (except Egg Saver) is UPS 3-day. Their customer service is also responsive.

And am I guaranteed a NON-DEFECTIVE product?
No, but if you get one, contact them within 30 days and arrange for RMA or refund. I've usually been able to even convince them to pay for return shipping on defective items.

If it says "Retail" or "OEM", it is new. Only "Refurbished" and "Open Box" are used/factory recertified.

In my experience they are very reliable Ive never had to RMA anything I bought. Shipping has been extremely fast for me due to the fact they ship from New Jersey and Im in New York so I guess it all depends on your location.

You do realise that the Q9650 is an Intel CPU two generations back?

Newegg sells things that are brand-new unless specified on the webpage so feel free to, but I'd recommend Sandy Bridge or one of the recent AMD ones and a new motherboard. (If it was opened, they will list it on the webpage at cheaper price and no returns).

$358.99 for a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650

You can get a brand new AMD hexacore processor, motherboard and double your RAM for that!
