please someone help me with ati tool to overclock my card i'm not a good overclocker so if you can explain how to do the needed changes? when i let ati tool to find max core and mem it stucks about 312 mhz for memory then about 315 mhz artifacts begin to occur (310 is stable for about 5 hours). so do i need ramsinks or some option changes in ati tool? please help. my core speed is over 525 without any problems, but the memory is not well overclockable. my memory is hynix 3.3ns (128bit) i saw in the memory section in an article on the site. what is the shortage that i cannot o/c my memory speed?
default core and mem is : 398/297 (400/300) like the most 9600 pro card.

Your ram just isnt capable of higher speeds, my 9550 has 3ns ram that will only do 215 MHz.

Hey at least your mem is 300mhz, could have got a powercolor 9600 256mb like mine that is memory defaulted to 200mhz and won't oc beyond about 225mhz.

i know people oc'ing their memory to 660 (330*2) with the same card
do you think i should buy some ramsinks to further?

300 is not a bad overclock considering your memory is rathed at about that which means you should be happy with what you have.

Video card manufacturers change the memory chips on their cards, your card may not have the same DDR as another.
