GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 with GSkill 1600 Memory problems

I am experiencing freezing up problems when I get into the BIOS of this board. Anyone know what can be done. It is not even overclocked and everything is at safe settings since I cannot even do anything....in the BIOS. Sometimes it is fine in the BIOS and boots up in Windows 7 64 bit w/SP1. only when I try to oc it by just changing the Multiplier it does not work. I know other board makers like ASUS have no problems with just a 1-Touch change in the multiplier to 40x and walla it works... but not this freaking board. Or maybe using the i7 2600k was a bad choice. As the i5 2500 works fine for many. I also tried XMP enabled and disabled and also increased VCore to 1.6 instead of 1.5... etc...

What I have is this but I am having problems even setting up in the BIOS.. in the BIOS it just freezes up... could it be the memory.. I have 4 sticks of GSkill of 4GB each and the XMP profile is disabled in the mobo
