Sapphire x800gto2 overclock

Hy guys I have Sapphire x800gto 2 LE PCI-e graphic card.I try to overclock it with atitool but it canoot go very high memory to 415 and gpu to 520.In atitools it says it is R430 chip.So how can I overclock it higher and can I unlock it to 16 pips.:confused:

It should be R480 since it can go to 520MHz core. The situation with the memory is not good (only 420MHz?). Your card should be with dual DVI? 2XDVI means that in fact it is X850XT or X850XT PE but the memory is "bad".

No I have one DVI and one Vga connector I saw in atitool and I have fues like on the picture all fues all the same

Please see and post here the PCB PN (PN 109-A474xx-xx on the front top side of the board). Your BIOS is for R430 that's why all the programs show R430. Please try again the memory overclock with ATITool but with older version (tell me what is written on the memory chips). VIVO or non VIVO is your card?
I have moded X850XT / PE BIOSes for 1xVGA/1xDVI and can adjust the clocks for your card or you can use GTO BIOS for R480. Please to attach copy of your original BIOS.
If your fuses are exactly the same like on fuse thread you should already have 16 pipes ;) . If you still have only 12 pipes - it means that the fuses has some differences :D . Do post them here to see what have to be done with your BIOS further ;) .

My card is blue color not red like others there is 1xDVI and 1xVGA.So what if I flash bios to x850 bios could I overclock it higher?

You can't overclock it higher but flashing R480 BIOS can result in higher performance at same clocks. Probably you haven't external power connector?
Yes it can be unlocked to 16 pipes. But do you want to to that or not :confused: .

Oh sorry I wrote wrong the core can go to 415 and memory to 531 does this change things

Yes absolutely. It means that you have R430 core which is good core but can't be overclocked higher than 430-450MHz. Only if you have 12 pipes it is worth to unlock to 16.

I tought my X800GTO2 sucked, but this is really pathetic, considering this is a Sapphire X800GTO2... If you have just bought it, return it. Instead, buy an X850XT PE, they are available from 149$ to 199$. I can get it 199$ Canadian just around the corner.
