Hola, I am seeing a board take about 5 minutes to begin the boot sequence regardless of what your doing. It takes around 5 minutes every time, after the screen splash, to decide what to do next, whether thats getting into Qflash(bios update util) or booting into an OS from a HDD or loading an OS from a CD. Is this a sign of a bad board? Or potentially a bad Chip? Once it does boot, it's fine, works great.

My original goal for this machine was to load ESXi/FX -8120/16GBs of ram. But it sits there and blinks for ever(5 minutes) every time I try to do something. ESXi loaded fine, but every reboot takes its sweet time.

sounds like you have a usb device plugged in at boot? if not maybe ram

I will attest to this! I noticed with a USB thumb drive in mine with the bios set to raid, it will freeze while seeking the thumb drive until it is complete THEN load windows. If I have to boot off a thumb drive, I must disable raid to make it faster. weird really!

Updated to latest bios...looks like the issue regarding the long timeout is gone..
