In the last days was was able to repeatly see slwodowns of the 1900XT card when using atitool.
I can not say how to repeat it, but maybe others also experienced this?
The card will suddenly go down to about 300 fps in the 3dscreen, average fps should be 800°
Same with 3dmark tests, they show the as low result.
No setting i found can repair that again, changing frequencies and voltages from lowest possible to normal 3d, klicking on default button etc.
The only fix is a cold reboot.

Data:
1900xt
6.8 catalyst with chuck patch
atitool beta 16 pre 3
temperatures low to normal (never above 70°C in those cases)

Same here.
I noticed using the artifact tester: normally the cube is at 850 fps average and sometimes goes down to 300 average.

I can revert to the normal 850 fps closing the 3D view, changing the clock to 2D (not Default; I created a new profile called 2D with same frequencies and voltages of Default but 2D remembers the voltages) and changing again to 3D.
Now I open again 3D view and the cube is at 850 fps as normal.

This happens using atitool beta 16 pre 3

Addition: the only new x1000 setting i use is the one taht allows shorter frequency steps

This ATi Tool slows down my X1900XT in games and im receiving minor black outs and crashes thanks to it - uninstalling right away till it actually supports the X1900 series.
