I know, you were probably expecting some news on the R600, or the G90, or something actually having to do with the hardware/gaming world. However, one of our forum members, Slater (http://forums.techpowerup.com/member.php?u=29809), is a lot closer to the gaming community than you think. Like most techPowerUp! forum (http://forums.techpowerup.com/) members, Slater is someone who's very willing to help someone in need. If you've ever had a problem with hackers, Windows, or programming, you probably know Slater very well. I just thought it would interest some of you to know that Slater will be going into surgery, as his hand needs reconstructing. Slater is known for posting his wisdom in such helpful threads as the "sticky" Reccomended Software (http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=17777).

hey slater, hope everything is workin out ok, i had surgery on both my hands a couple years ago, carpel tunnel sux lol, so i can feel your pain, take your doctors advice, and do the excercises and you'll feel a lot better a lot faster, and be back gaming and chattin in no time

na i didnt get demerol, i dug up the thread to tell every1 the pins n cast came off thursday but i had to go back to the hospital to get an infection drained yesterday... shit hurt.

oh yeah and i needed the surgery because i had a boxers fracture on trhe 4th and 5th metacarpal bones, they were facing like -60 degrees (towards the floor)
