Please vote. :)
The forums does not have one.
Although it is not an every day reading category IMO it needs one.
Anyway let's decide.

Programming goes under general software I'd say. Most people here don't really program so a whole section for it is rather pointless. The few programming related questions fit fine within the rest of general software.

i concur with dan.
We wouldnt have enough programmers to justify its use. And if we did have a section, it wouldnt be frequented by TPU patrons, it would be a "dead zone" lol

Men other forums have a programming section instead of their programmers' number.
Yeap we could post in software section as DanTheBanjoman said but this is a mess sometimes for someone who seeks something specific.
I am not a programmer such others (honestly I don't know anything ) I just program for OcBible and for hobby.

Yes it needs one. Specifically sub-forums for C language and java especially.

A programming section would be great. Everyone should learn to program! (even if it can be a pain in the neck sometimes!)

A good language to start with that's easy to get to grips with is Python. Its not overly complicated yet its very powerful.

That would be good...
I agree with ket about having a subforum for java aswell...
I program a lot of java and a place to talk would be good...
out of cureocity what languages to people use:
so far at uni i've been doing:
java, haskell, ide68000 assembly (i hate assembly), vdm++

Yep I voted for it. General Software doesn't fit it, and it would be good to learn new skills. Certainly can't see it would do any harm, even if it wasn't the busiest section.

Thanks folks.
Continue voting. :toast:
IMHO for C and all variations is necessary.
For example the forum hosts SysTool which is written (I guess) in C and assembly (correct me W1zzard) :)

Of course we can help all of us.
