Dual monitor question

I recently set up my computer to run on dual monitors, and I was just wondering if there was a way I could run say, CS:S on my primary monitor and still be able to move this mouse over to the secondary monitor (to the left) to control iTunes or MSN without CS:S minimizing on the first screen.

I'm pretty sure ATI Hydravision or something like that allows you to do that.

I'm speaking under correction but as far as I know there aren't any games that support this. I've tested dual monitors too before but the best I could do is get a mirror of the game on both monitors... Whenever you activate a full screen game for instance, it takes control of the mouse and hides the cursor. But let me know if you succeed in doing this. ;)
