you can go higher, you can probably get 3.8 with about 55C load(random estimate) since you're chip is doing so well at 3.55. congrats and keep up the good work.

yeah ss is hard to make out but nice indeed :P I may get this as my nexted cpu... I think all batches of q6600's are g0 stepping now aint they? seems that way.. thier on for a nice price nowadays too.. and peryen is not going to be much better... just a little more overclockability.

I still love my Xeon X3210 B3 since I got it for $250CAD shipped to me. It's amazing what these G0's can do, but there isn't anything out there a B3 can't tear through pretty much as fast.

Nice OC though.

panchoman
Sep 23, 2007, 01:41 AM
once you upload the pic, you need to link to it. by hitting the insert image button, which looks like a post card, and you type in the url of the place where the pic got uploaded on tpu.

i use paint, i get full screen ones, its like ctrl print screen and then you paste that in paint, it'll ask to enlarge the bitmap, so you enlarge it, and then save it as jpeg.

Paulieg
Sep 23, 2007, 02:03 AM
When I use paint, I'm not asked if I want to enlarge it, nor can I find an option to do so.

Sep 23, 2007, 02:08 AM
0_o, just make the bitmap bigger yourself so that it can fit the full size screenshot.

Paul all you do is save it as a jpeg with paint. Then using Internet explorer you open the reply to post button, then click the quick image upload button in the right hand corner of the message box, use browse, then choose your image on your computer, hit upload, after it uploads copy and paste the url from the quick image upload box, into the text and your image will post.

geez guys, TPU has an image uploader built directly into the Post Reply screen! Wiz did it so we didn't have to go through all this confusion lol
it can be found at the top right section of the tools on that page

and PS good job OCing guys, I can't wait to get my Zalman 9700 on my G0 and see what it can do, I accidently shipped the retention bracket with the P5K I sold :banghead: so waiting to get that back, just been sitting at 2.7 at stock volts on stock cooling

and btw what do you guys think is the best temp monitor out there I always see a bunch of different ones in screenies but can't find many for dl...so links would be appreciated :)

Nice clock speeds, can't wait to clock mine when it arrives.

PS. If you find screen shots are too big or small, an ideal free programe to use for resizing is photogadget, get it from here h**p://www.xemico.com/photogadget/freeware.html it's a very good ap.

Heat and voltage the Go takes less voltage and creates less heat so you can get a higher overclock at lower voltages.

I'm still confused on why these OC numbers are a big deal?

Were the non G0s that terrible to OC? I get that impression with everyone raving over the G0.
