I just received my Seagate 7200.11 750GB and I'm currently using a 74G Raptor. I've been a WD guy, but I'm trying the Seagate because it's got a 32mb cache vs. the 16mb. I'll let you know how it is.

No problem man! Let's do a benchmark compare of the two, although our systems are obviously different, maybe some SiSoftware Sandra or other HDD tests will give people an idea of what an extra 16mb of cache might do! (i'd sure love to know, as I spent an extra $35 for it)

If you know of any other HDD tests, let me know. I haven't benched HDD's in a LONG time, and I'm running on reduced functionality on my machine now, and it'll be in pieces all of next week. Come up with a list of benchies, and I'd love to compare :)
