yeah, what you got listed seems like a solid system, what are you asking?

The only thoughts that I would have is that the prices are dropping on Kentsfeild processors as the Yorkfeilds are becoming more readily available. I would go with a Q9450 as this MB will take a Yorkie, or if you are still looking at Kentsfeild, QX6700 is getting cheaper and cheaper. 1000watts PSU is way overkill also, even if you watercooled and were running 2 9800GX2 in SLI. Maybe check this out http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151031 this is the Seasonic M12-700 it's modular and it is built to be silent and is TOP QUALITY!!!! I'm no fan of Apevia cases, but it is your rig, maybe a thermaltke Armor or ArmorJR is around the same price or less. Also have a look at some Antec cases. OCZ memory seems to work out good, I have OCZ reaperX pc6400 on an EVGA MB and they OC very nicely (Got them up to 1120mhz and stable).

and also, besides the totally irrelavant post, why an SLI mobo? seems like a waste of money if your only running (i say "only" haha) one 9800GX2. i guess your future proofing?

Pretty good rig you got planned out overall. A few alternatives to consider like Smartbomb mentioned would be the Q6700 it's now close enough in price to the Q6600 to make it the better choice overall. Here are examples: both TigerDirect (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3591372&Sku=CP2-DUO-Q6700&SRCCODE=GOOGLEBASE&CMP=OTC-GOOGLEBASE) and CompUSA.com (http://www.compusa.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3591372&Sku=CP2-DUO-Q6700&SRCCODE=COMPGOOBDF&CMP=OTC-GPRODUCTS)(same company now I believe) have it for $259!
Another alternative for your video card would be getting 2 9800GTXs in SLi to make use of that Mobo of yours. Depending on which brand you get you'll end up spending about the same or slightly more on 2 GTXs(after rebates) as 1 GX2($530-560). Here is a link to a list of available GTXs and their prices on Newegg as an example. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010380048%20106792522%201067938081&bop=And&Order=PRICE&Page=1&FieldChange=Y&FieldChoose=16%2C15%2C10%2C14%2C18%2C21%2C20) Even stock for stock the GTXs should be better than a single GX2 added to the fact that the GTXs have far greater OCing potential and you have a knockout punch. :rockout:
Another thing to consider for your CPU cooler would be Thermalright or Xigmatec products as they are the top dogs for Air cooling at the moment.
Either way you go however you have a very solid build which you should be able to enjoy for quite some time. :toast:

oh, something I've learned from experience. I have a GX2 mounted in on a evga 750 ftw motherboard in a cooler master ATCS case. My case is approxiamately 8 inches wide, the problem is that the power wires for the GX2 stick out to about the 9 inch mark(1 inch farther than where the case's side panel is suppose to be). I would highly recommend you make sure whatever case you get is ATLEAST 9 inches wide for a sytem with a GX2 in it.

stick with the q6600, I just bought a 6700 thinkin I could hit 4ghz easier, yah right
The 6700 couldnt even get a stable 3.85, where my 6600 can do it all day(yah alittle hot - but it does it :))
I returned the 6700 and Im gonna save up for a 9650.
Go with the OEM of the 6600, and get good cooling for it. Much better deal than the 6700
