I might be getting one for my bday, I want to know if its any good, like will it not fail on me and such.

I don't know anyone that has one, but I have the SE16 640GB, plenty of space, good single drive performance, low temps, extremely quiet, and cheap, can't go wrong...I know it's lower than the 1TB you are looking at tho...I'm sure it's a good drive tho...GP, I think that's GreenPower which means it's more of a "low-e" drive, but iirc I read it was still a decent drive, less performance oriented, but still fairly speedy and stable. Maybe check out Google and see what others say there, that's what I did with the 640 I got. I couldn't be happier.

My first WD HDD, I'm content..of course Seagate and Samsung's are good too...the Samsung F1 is supposed to be a pretty damn good drive also, along with the Seagate 7200.10 and .11's and beyond. Can't really lose from any company imo.
