Hi all having abit of a problem with my processor, Im running a phenom x4 9950 and my motherboard is a MSI k9a2 platinum but in overdrive and cpu-z it's not showing all of my cores just one! the mobo supports my processor and i have d/l the latest bios updat 1.6 which says it supports the new tech but i have no change on any of these programs. Do i have to enable the 4 cores in bios? if so how? or is the a driver for the processor? i found one driver for the phenom but that was a 2007 driver surely i do not need this? I have inc the jpg of the two programs running. plz help somebody!!

Your not reading the core or mem? Is that the problem? did you flash your mobo bios? You should not flash it if you are not having any issues with comp operation and such. Does the vid card work fine? There is no drivers for the pross. they are all working fine unless it is failing I am sure. Not likely I have never blown a cpu and I have overclocked some very high. I had my 9950 clocked to 3.2GHZ. Uninstall all programs with issues and use a drivercleaner program to completely remove ATI drivers. And reinstall drivers that are up to date.

Your not reading the core or mem? Is that the problem? - ye only one core is showing up, but i thought the processor wouldnt work if this was the case?
did you flash your mobo bios? - Yes and it doesnt seem to have cleared problem.
Does the vid card work fine? - 4870 dual 1gig works great ran stalker top settings everything great. which makes me think overdrive and cpuz are lying? would i be able to run that all maxed if i had 1core running?? dont know.
There is no drivers for the pross. - 2007 one but havent installed it.
Uninstall all programs with issues and use a drivercleaner program to completely remove ATI drivers. And reinstall drivers that are up to date. - ok will try that.
