XbitLabs (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/cpu/print/sempron-3100-oc.html) took an ordinary Sempron 3100+ which is rated at 1800MHz and run it through their paces. Utilizing a stock heatsink and powering it up with 1.65V it runs stable at 2.52GHz. See the benchmark results for yourself...
