First off, my current WD 1TB has started to make noises when it seeks, never used to and i don't like it. Is it safe for it to continue or shall i go about backing up everything?

Second, is that i have been looking for a good small (as in size it can hold), reliable and fast drive just for my OS and games. Then having a larger drive for my music etc. Looked at SSDs but they are still a little pricey for me. OCUK do a OCZ 60GB for about £120 - is that the cheapest they are at the moment? But any suggestions for normal Hard Drives?

Cheers.

A 32 GB SSD should be sufficient for just an O/S drive. I would definitely back up your data from the 1TB drive and send it in to WD for replacement.

dang, got it from Fit though.

I wasn't sure just how large OS are these days. If i can squeeze OS and say 4/5 games on to a 32 i'd do it.

Shouldn't matter. Here you go. http://support.wdc.com/warranty/index_end.asp?lang=en Vista 64 takes up about 20gb on my SSD.
