Xfx 8600gts Overclock

Well, i remember someone asking me the benching with the overclocked XFX 8600 GTS, not that its an amazing card or anything, but just gona put it up in case anyone else owns one and wants to do some overclocking. What I must say is that it does work a lot better after overclocking, so here the results are.

Damn, nearly 50% increase in texture fillrate.

yeah its pretty nice, but the only thing I would complain about is the cooler. Had to get a new cooler cuz of the poor driver control for fan. when it gets to 72C, it automatically changes fan speed to default control and doesn't let me manually do it. So i had to take $40 and get a zalman VF900, but i guess its still good to have that since I can use t for other video cards that needs cooling.

and maybe not as both my XFX Alpha dog 8800GT's died lol. But yea did you break any oc records with those clocks? i'd like to see how far you're off if you didn't. real world benchies would be great, maybe crysis 1280x1024 low or med? lol

Never had any problems with XFX although my EVGA card is able to clock higher, both the same card

crysis benchies? can i do this without the game?

and i don't think I beat the highest records as I have heard them going to 1000 on the core, but they used higher volt on theirs, which I am too lazy to do XD.
