Either way were screwed but McCain will be better of the two. Obama is just going to be a puppet for Ploossi (what ever the bitches name is). If Obama wins I hope he understands he will have to make a decision. He cant just vote present.

And for the people who think they are going to pay less taxes do some research. Where do you think all the money for hospital insurance, schools, green bullshit etc are coming from. Oh maybe when he pulls every one out of Irac. Hes not PULLING them out it was a front.

Obama is lost, but he can sure read real well whats written for him. Hes a puppet.

The way I see it, I agree with viczulis. We're all screwed. If Obama gets in, he will probably get assassinated because people cant cut the shit with racism and just be human and accept one another as we actually are...(that is humans for those who dont know) regardless of skin color or creed.

Second, if McCain gets in, the war in Iraq/Afghanistan will never cease, gas will never lower, and in fact, he seems like the type of guy to bring the draft back. Then of course since I dont agree with 9/10 of the bullshit this country spews out its ass Ill probably find my self in Iraq fighting in a cause that 9/10 Americans dont believe we should be fighting.

I will say nothing more on the topic as this is just a flamewar waiting to ignite.

Edit: To add one last thing to my statement. I seriously beleive that the 2008 election will be rigged just like it was back in 2004 and the election before that. Both times Bush got in on a lie. Watch the movie Uncounted one day. I seriously believe that computers should not be involved with any sort of an election process as too many companies can rig their machines to switch the vote.

Not as much as what your own actions say about you. One can admire qualities in another while completely disagreeing with them about other things. And I have many friends who I wouldn't exactly call on to carry on my beliefs. Obama himself to my knowledge has never said anything to indicate he himself is racist (if I am wrong let me know, I'd rather you quote his words than those he associates with). This seems to be a media-hyped frenzy you are drawing conclusions from, a faulty if not dangerous path.

Um no those are what we call facts.

Im not american but i would vote Obama its just a shame that the ecomomy etc is left in such a state for his take over he had some good ideas and plans which will probably be alot harder to put into action now any president taking over at this time is going to have a BIG job on his hands and i hope people take this into consideration at the next presidential election i think Obama will do well.
And i think he'll do even better in time.

I was thinking the same thing but I hope we're wrong.

Im not American but I imagine almost everyone in the world is curious to see what happens here. Either way I hope Obama is your new president. There is no way anyone could possibly do anymore damage to your country than the current "leader" has in the last 8 years. America used to be respected and appreciated....

If Obama wants to defend America by not picking anymore fights (Iraq/vietman) he's probably right.

Im only posting in here once and this will be the only time you see my mention political crap. Honestly your election in none of my business, we have our own election happening right now also.

#1) Don't speak so soon about more damage -- if McCain were to somehow win, you have no idea what four more years of Republican rule could possibly do to damage America. ;)

#2) I don't really think America's ever really been "appreciated" -- "respected," maybe, but never appreciated. Unless maybe if you're from Belgium.

PS. Are there still people out there dumb enough to believe Obama is a Black Panther or something? Obama is an asshole, but he's no radical; he's controlled by the same corporate interests that control the Democratic Party that control McCain that control the Republican Party. Please take off your tinfoil hat and ease up on the Rush Limbaugh.

That makes no phucking sense? Wait, are you one of the candidates? That could explain it then, the not making sense. obama, I dont like the guy, think hes a big phony. Your black panther spew, wtf? yay for random poles where 90% of those who voted in it can't vote int he election. and of the other 10% 90% of them won't vote on election day because statistically young americans don't vote. so yeah I'm glad you all have your opinions. but really, I'd much prefer you kept your mouth shut and actually showed up on election day rather than spewing your opinion everywhere, but "forget" to show up at the polls.

Im not from America, nor do I live there.

However if I could I would seriously vote for Obama. Although Obama has said a few things and changed that only a week later, with McCain you know for 100% sure we've just a Bush II ruining your stuff near you. Obama can always slightly move there in the end, but at least it's not guaranteed.

But I find the American politics quite hard since it's not as easy as the Europian politics. Here you've got liberal and social which basicly reflects also respectively rightwing and leftwing, and for that matter I would always be voting rightwing as it's linked to economics.

In America you've got countless different conservatism ideas which seem to be rightwinged, and then you've got only a bit democratic which seems to be a bit more leftwinged. But then their rightwinged ideas are almost nationalistic and, sorry if this is insulting, arrogant or even ignorant as they think how they are compared to the rest of the world. The democratics as said seem to be more leftwinged although I 'think' relatively they're simply rightwinged in EU terms but less nationalistic.

In EU if you talk about leftwinged you've already socialistic economy, still liberal-ish though. But no matter how hard you work as manager/boss/director, the 'simple workers' so to say are always the good guys and the managers and such always the bad guys:shadedshu

Americans don't really understand politics very well. The Republicans are socially conservative, economically liberal, and generally extremely nationalistic and militaristic. The Democrats are socially liberal, economically centric, and slightly more internationalist and diplomatic. Both parties have their extremes - fascists and libertarians in the Republicans and social democrats in the Democrats - but the center of both parties are nearly identical except on social issues and foreign policy, which is how elections are generally decided. There is no 'left' in the US (other than a minority faction within the Democrats) since our political economy is strangled by the two corporate-backed parties and a history of violent anti-labor repression/legislation.

Its funny you mention that with a hammer and sickle in ur avatar... wait what was that percursor to communism? A giant disparity between the rich and everyone else? Hmm...

Ironic how "pure" capitalists label the people who are trying to preserve a balance in the economy as commie regulators.

I'm really impressed by the number of people who voted "I dont care".
How can you say that? I cant understand this position, really, please explain me. You simply dont have an opinion :)shadedshu) or you think that all the candidates are the same (Obama=McCain? rofl!)?

I think that one of the worst things in America are the ultra-low percentage of voters. In Europe we have something like 80% or more sometimes. This is democracy.

(as always, i meant no offence. if this post offended you someway, tell me, i'll try to edit it :))

"I don't care" = neither is compelling...in other words, both suck. Also means "I won't be voting". Applies to some of those Hillary/Dr. Paul/Romney fans who, reports suggest, want to refrain from voting altogether.

You didn't answer his question -- did John McCain bomb civilian infrastructure in North Vietnam, or didn't he?

You, my friend, seem to have a good grasp of the situation. There is only one real political party to me in America, with two sides: Nationalist (Republicans), and slightly more Socialist (Democrats). Maybe they should get together and form some sort of "National Socialist" party or something.

Maybe then the trains would run on time, at least.

"I don't care" = neither is compelling...in other words, both suck. Also means "I won't be voting". Applies to some of those Hillary/Dr. Paul/Romney fans who, reports suggest, want to refrain from voting altogether.

true, but i think its ALWAYS better to chose the "less worse". I mean, if both sucks, there still is one that sucks less, since they have almost opposite politics. Vote that one, so that the one that sucks most wont win. Better one cent than nothing, i say.

I think that one of the worst things in America are the ultra-low percentage of voters. In Europe we have something like 80% or more sometimes. This is democracy.

Yeah -- I'm pretty sure in Europe most of you get to vote on the weekends, right? In America, it's a Tuesday -- most people either have to work or are too busy. This isn't an accident -- Tuesday was picked for a reason.

(Yes, by law, Americans have to be given "reasonable time off to vote," but this isn't enforced very strongly, and I'm pretty sure the law is vague as to just how much time is "reasonable.")
