I'd go with #5. Good timings, good price.

#1 and #2 is 4 DIMMs which pretty much requires 2T timings.

#3 means no dual channel for a while.

Remember, x86 Windows can only address up to 4 GiB of physical memory. You need x64 to address more than that.

I'm with Ford on this one, makes the most sense.

Ultimately i think i will get

Geil Ultra Plus 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 1066MHz GX24GB8500C5UDC 5-5-5-15

it's a bit cheaper, and the probably have it in stock... not sure if the price on #5 is for real or no... looks like it's too cheap... maybe a hoax

U think Ultra Plus would be better than Black Dragon or vice-versa? DFI recommends Geil Ultra Plus for overclocking my board... does that even matter or is it just a commercial act?

From my experience, compatibility lists are mostly garbage. Of course, you will find the occassions when you have compatibility issues. However, most boards support far more sticks than what makes it on their list.

"Recommend" usually just means tested and works. Bottom line is: Get what you can afford.

There are not a ton of CL4 1066 kits. That being said, in US dollars, about $110-140 depending on brand, timings etc.

Hey guys, thanks for helping....
I went out today and got me a Phenom X4 9950BE, and GEIL PC8500 CL5 2x2GB... unfortunately Serbian dinar went down compared to Euro, so i had to pay 20$ more for the same 2x2gb kit than it was few days ago... talk about bad timing :(

Nevertheless... everything works superb...

Just one more question, where do you guys look up DDR2 chips at? My GEIL is GX24GB8500C5UDC and i can't seem to find what chips are on it... i got some info on googling and it seems they have Micron D9 chips...

Can anyone concur on this?

I usually check here: http://ramlist.i4memory.com/ddr2/ , but my modules are not in the list... from here it seems like all GEIL GX modules have Micron D9GCT chips?
