If I get you correctly, then yes. Its oc'ed at stock. I don't have the specs in mind, but its above an average 4850.

I'd also check out the Gigabyte GV-R485OC-1GH. 1Gb of memory and oc'd to 700Mhz too.

Gainward idles @ 33° (30% fan usage), load isnt much higher, it never went above 50°

how about HIS ICEQ 4 4850???i hav see benchmark also ok...2 of this also hav oc...is gainward more fastest??

IceQ4 is a better choice for me. Does the gainward even have an exhaust cooler. My IceQ4s do 700/1200 easily.

I used CCC Overdrive to overclock the cards. Voltage is stock but I modified the BIOS to have the cards idle @ 300Mhz in 2D operation.

dang what program do you use to flash your bios?
for some reason RBE isnt working for me... on my visiontek ati 4850 -_- my voltages are really bad lol 1.158 i think and running on 550W

i should really use a usb drive to flash my bios but i just dont know how:banghead:

I used ATIWinflash to flash the cards. I worked well but it can really screw up you hardware if you make mistakes.

hmm I guess it's irrelevant then since the OPs in Malaysia.

Wouldnt a higher binned 4850 just be a 4870 with DDR3. Since they share the exact same GPU just lower clock speeds.

Which means if you can't get it, go for the HIS. Get an IceQ 4 model clocked at 685 Mhz and for all intents and purposes you have the same performance, decent cooling and low decibels as the Gainward. And probably for less money.

If both cards are almost equal, go for the cheaper one, if you do not hunt after each MHz or degree.
