need some help to select a LCD monitor

im looking for a suitable monitor for myself, but currently there are just too many options out in the market, im really confused on which one to choose, can anybody who knows well suggest me some models

I want a LCD monitor in between 20" to 24"
here is my needs for the monitor

- DVI connector
- fast response time, i play games from time to time, and precise timing is essential
- color saturation, i often need to do some image editing in my leisure time, but its not my job its just a hobby, so im not buying a dedicated monitor for this purpose

I just ordered this BenQ E2220HD monitor for myself, and I got it for less than Neweggs price over @ DirectCanada for $223.56 CAD vs the $249.99 from Newegg US

I hope its as good as it looks.

Edit: If your looking at 24" monitors, have a look at this BenQ 2400HD

Make sure you take a look at the Samsungs before you make your final choice (I have bought 3 and they are all beautiful, not 1 dead pixel). My vote...

that to i was going cheap but i have a samsung 50" plasma and a 19" samsung monitor and they are BEAUTIFUL and of course no gosting or dead pixels

+1 on the samsung's they have fast response times (mine is 2ms) and the newer models are beautiful !

Anyone ever have one of these 24" Gateway monitors?? Anyone ever by a refurbished product from tiger Direct, and if so did the product work well for a long time after purchase??

I ask because I am thinking of getting this monitor, but it does use up to 150W power since it is a couple of years old model:
