HD4870 Fan question!

If i leave my fan on 100 Percent 24/7 will it in any way hurt the motor or decrease the life of the fan? Might be a noob question but i really dont know!

It will decrease the life of the motor, but odds are you'll sell or give the card away before that happens. I've ran all of my cards at 100% all of the time and never had a problem outside of them being noisy.

other than winning belgium lotteries! and I 2nd it... shouldn't do any harm, you'll buy a new card before the fan craps out... and even if it DOES... aftermarket :toast:

Haha, still have yet to see any winnings, I've also won two other European lotteries and a Canadian lottery since then.

yeah my wife won a candian one, and she got one for a relative that passed away and left her as the sole benficiary... from london... with a hong kong e-mail address :roll:

My emails are mostly from what looks like legit emails, they just always want me to reply to some obscure email addy....
Another thing I keep getting is countless offers for wholesale electronics from my friends. They really need to learn how to tell a phisher site from something that's legit.
