IIRC nozzled and bowed fuzion showed 3c-5c better temp's vs non nozzled/bowed block's on a quad core.

i could be wrong as i haven't seen the info in a while but that's what i recall....

You'll have the option of silence or awesome performance or both. Yea its a little bit more money and sucks up some more power (negligible on your electric bill really), but you'll save buckets of time and it will have a nice small footprint. It will produce better temps than the best watercooling loops (albeit at high noise levels).

The above cooler is a sealed unit (no maintenance... this is a big plus) and leak tested at the factory (of course). Just install it and forget it.

I used newegg to get my swiftec stuff, the only problem I have had is the availibility on it.

Currently folding on the CPU and GPU, the temps are 31C.

Total cost for the cooling was less than $250 with all the fittings, fans, coolant, and a box of 50 feet of the tubing from a local supplier.

The Dtek Fuzion should get ur temps down to 20-45 c load and 5-20C idle.

This is posativly the best news .
I tell you going to a liquid cooling setup has not been easy and thanks to all of you here I can say I am more than stoked now , I know that I made the right choice and that soon ( when they open the 29th ) I will be getting this setup and finally cooling off this nuclear reactor CPU down ! I can hardly keep my self still now !
Thank you all for the help . I bet with the chipset cooling and CPU cooling I will get I can reach that coveted 3.8GHz finally !
I can reach it now but it is so HOT I can not keep it there , 55-60C idle !

dont wanna bash, but thats untrue. idle temps cant go under ambient temps for the most obvious of the principles of thermodinamic. so you will get idle 0-10 C load 15-30C DELTA TEMPERATURE: means cpu teperature minus ambient temperature

Well one thing I hope to see is a drastic drop in temps boths Idle and load , This Q6600 is one hot reactor and I need some real cooling . I just hate that this thing gets 70+c loaded I have seen temps as high as 74c ! I never want to see that ever again . I have to keep things cool you know .
and I am finding it hard to do so on air and that with a tech unit !

Idle temps can be no lower than ambient temps. Load temperature is determined by clockspeed, voltage and how well the loop will work.

The quad core insert is a must! Two chips in the Q6600 and the quad nozzle directs the water directly over each of the chips. With the normal insert, the two cores furthest away from the water contact area will become hot.

Well as before I still have no answer on the insert I need for the water block I am getting and the Q6600 I have . I would love to get one and there was also the matter of the washer for that D-tek block I still can not seem to find them at that site .
So for now I am stuck with just the water block unless you can help me out ..

I did some research on the insert (I have the Fusion), and there is only a 1-2c difference in temps with the insert on a Quad. Not worth the extra cash.

are you shure? IIRC from what i saw from all of the testing at Xs the nozzled and bowed fuzion would net 3c-5c better temp's on a q6600 vs a stock fuzion. the nozzle/washer kit is no more than $7 so well worth it IMO....
