Was just wondering what other awesome input/peripheral hardware people have here, thats not common.

For example, i dont want to really hear about someone with a generic corded keyboard that cost $3, i want to hear about the premium toys :toast:

This dinovo edge has a few shmexy features
  • Laser cut from a single piece of plexi
  • 2 hours recharge lasts for 60 days (freaky!)
  • i tested it at 30 meters still working. couldnt see the screen any further than that to test longer range.
  • Mouse touchpad built into the keyboard.
Anyone else got any unique/awesome input devices that arent very common? this thing sure stood out at the lan i was just at.

MX Rev, not uncommon, but a very nice mouse. As for keyboard, I just a $10 Compaq from Radioshack. I love that KB to death though...

i just borrowed an MX revolution since the dinovos marketing all says its hte mouse to use with it... and found it horrible.

it was skippy/jumpy on anything not a mousepad, and the thumb wheel was just constantly getting pressed accidentally and getting in the way. Its got nothing on a G5/G7.

I have ordered my new media centre and I am considering one of the Dinovo mini kboards to go with it.

Have you had any experience with them..

BTW... I have MS laser desktop 6000 and its ok but bad during games, the mouse resets to bottom left of screen every couple of minutes..... not good when BF2'in :(

if the mini is anything like the edge, it will be epic.

The edge only cost me $20 over the mini where i bought it (local PC store) and its perfect for anything, except a few games.

Example: supreme commander uses the +/- keys on the numpad for game speed, and theres no other way to control that. Garrys mod also uses the numpad exclusively. Gamers be warned, no numpad is bad. (Media users be warned: this thing is so shiny you can read from reflections on the keyboard)

hmmm... I am pretty keen on that mini, I might just get one yet. Might have to wait a couple of weeks though for the missus to settle down considering I just bought a $200 case for it.

I got my edge for $190 from centercom in bendigo. If you want one, you might be able to call them and get them to ship it. (RRP was $350, they had two left on saturday)

That edge is awesome! I want the mini for a future HTPC build. Still a little pricey, but I did find one used for $70.

the "Edge" does look futuristic and sleek.

I'm pretty satisfied with my G11 & MX518 combo. :)

Never had any of these issues. My thumb wheel is a pretty hard to press in by accident, and movement isn't skippy. Every once in a while (as of just recently) it does skip for a fraction of a sec, but it is mostly when I have something on wireless G near it.

I like my Saitek Eclipse (the red led one!) and love my MX Revolution. I have it just on my desk and the thing is smooth, the buttons are all in great places, its just way better than the MX700/MX3000 I used. Fantastic mouse. Keyboard is great too!
