ASUS has some new M4A boards out. A 790FX and 780G.

Really pisses me off!!! I sold my M3A32-Deluxe 2wks ago and bought the M3A79-T Deluxe, not knowing these would soon be coming out. I guess I need to pay more attention :banghead:

Pretty sure it's just the M3A series with small revisions and out of the box 100% PII support. I wouldn't say they are worth trading a M3A79 for a M4A79 tho..

Actually that FX board has been out for at least 2 weeks now since newegg has it listed. It might be more, I almost bought it but I'm waiting for the AM3 boards first to see the prices. I'm especially interested in the M4A79-T board.

Because the chipsets don't get hot at all.. The 790GX in my HTPC stay at room temperature even under 100% load and it's got a small little heatsink.

I have the M4A79 Deluxe. Actually a very nice looking board, other than that it is as Shadow says, very similar to the 79-T with "out of the box" PII support.
