Ok, I'm looking for another video card. Help me find a deal on the best performing card under $325. I'm ok with Nvidia or ATI. Thanks in advance guys!!

they have 4870 512mb on sale at the egg for 179.00 crossfire? Or you could look into the GTX 280s last time I looked they were in the low 3s if I remember correctly.

From what I hear, Cat 9.1 is reasonably stable, and 9.2 will fully support the card. I'm just wondering if it may be worth it, considering when it works, it outclasses gtx260 and 280.

Actually that is bogus. The 4850x2 is listed on ATi's website in the drivers section. It's a great card for the price.

Really?? Or do you mean it supports GPU's as an overall? As u can see Sapphire is the only manufact. that produces 4850x2. So that means they mod drivers to get it stable.

9.2 will officially support this card, from what I understand...and cat 9.1's seem to be working fairly well....from what I've read. Next question is should I get the 1GB or 2GB version of the 4850x2? There's a $50 difference b/t these two cards. I only run a 20" monitor, so I'm not running super high resolution.

If you're running 1680x1050 or lower, you probably don't need the 2gb card

yea, that 2gb(really 1gb for each gpu) would be VERY useful in games such at GTA4 and as mentioned AA+AF performance would be greater than having the 1gb(512mb per gpu). I'd go 2gb.
