OCZ Apex or Intel X25-M

Im in the market right now for a new SSD to replace my velociraptor. the two Ive been looking into are:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227411
and the
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227411 Ive been through review after review of these drives. Now im looking for opinions from anybody who has these drives or has any more useful knowledge.

I own the Vertex and the Vertex is the fastest they make. From fastest to slowest: Vertex > Apex > Core.

price sucks on both. why not get 2 smaller ones that can outperform the larger one?

here's what i have...

i paid $150 shipped for the pair. cant beat that really.

That's still not a bad price. 60GB is plenty for throwing the OS and programs on.

Go with the OCZ. I have an older version that is half the speed and it rocks!! The Apex series is rated faster than the Vertex series.
