We review hardware and software with no mercy on this site. Either it performs well or it doesn't. So why is it so wrong to voice our opinions regarding other hardware forums?
I consider it a service if TPU members offer advise on other forums that maybe skewed one way or another, at least I know what to expect from these sites.
There have been many threads closed if you even mention other sites and especially anything remotely having to do with HardOCP. Why? Are mod or site owners affiliated with them? Is TPU doing some link exchanges or other marketing initiatives? Is there a legal situation?
I understand personal attacks are not accepted, but I also think its a valid for members to offer their point of view regarding other tech forums and what thier thoughts are. Im actually worried this thread will get closed just because I mentioned the "off limit" sites name.
