That is nice price and value. Just I don`t like the high FSB and low multi combination that comes with. For descent overclocking it needs expensive mobo.

I'm planning on getting another 2GB of RAM along with a Q8200 next month - hopefully I'll have some kind relatives that'll send me some 'presents' that'll help towards funding the parts. The all I'll need is an SSD.

I don't think it's that great of a deal if you're planning on overclocking. With a 7x mult you'd need a motherboard that can hit 500fsb just to get to 3.5ghz.

Yeah, it's a nice cheap quad if you don't mine the limits on overclocking. 2.8Ghz (400 x 7) is an easy hit, I did it on mine with a passive Scythe Ninja Rev B.

imho if you want a good overclock on a low multiplier p35 is the best i plan on getting a Q8200 and running DDR2 1200mhz or so with 1:1 ratio [for maximum memory bandwidth] wish i had the money to get it right now
