Emails disappear after being read

Hi

Using Outlook 2007 and Exhange 2003. When I read an email it disappears. It doesn't go to the deleted folder and my view is set to 'Messages'. Googled it and couldn't find anything useful. Any ideas?

use thunderbird, or gmail.
Or use thunderbird to read your Gmail.

People still use outlook?

I love Outlook. It's a great client and far better than Thunderbird IMO. I have about 8 different email addresses all going into my Outlook so its a great way to organize everything.

see your client settings, it can only be there...otherwise reinstall. This said, like Mussels told you, run Thunderbird

...or if you don't like it, try Windows Live Mail, it's not bad. Looks nicer than Thunderbird but the settings in Thunderbird offer better tweaking. And yes, together with GMail in either POP or IMAP

(if you need help to setup your anti-virus with a Gmail account, although it's not really needed, just ask).

This is my work account, and I don't like Thunderbird. I'm supposed to be the network technician and I can't figure it out!!!
