Playing a game called " Gene Troopers " at 1280x1024 high settings, all max out. So i get around 100fps at the menu, and in game, i get between 30-45fps. Perfect , alright like about 15 mins into the game, the frames drop to 11 or 14 and it does not drop below 11 and never goes above 14.

So i hit alt+tab to check task manager and i notice in the memory section the game is using:

1,000,000

and yes i am serious. Sometimes it reads 987,999. Thats insane. Could the memory thing affecting performance and how do i fix it, i have 3.25GB of memory.
Oh and btw this never happen on XP. Vista seems to be a powerful OS, and i do have trouble with some games, but the good thing its only been 4 so far(Crysis, SOF3, GTA3, and now Gene Troopers)

:wtf: anyways lol silly me i found the problem, it didn't seem to close out the first time i quit the game and it was still running, so it double on the memory. Now i just hit alt+tab and i still have the game running right now and its at 134,472.

Btw i know you haven't heard of the game, its a budget game, and i strive on collecting them.

Here is a video i found, try not to laugh so hard
