Anyone modded the 3D voltage on a HD4770 yet?

Does it work, and if so what sort of voltages are people using?

On stock voltages the card should easily be able to run 900/1000.

I'm sure increasing voltage will greatly increase temps. Running furmark in a small window should allow for real time clock and voltage tuning. Pay close attention to your temps.

Find the weak spot with the stock voltage when over clocking using Furmark. Then add just a little juice to see if it corrects the image.

Be careful. I've read the HD4770 is very sensitve to voltage increases and gets hot very fast.

Is this voltage modded with RBE, rather than asus smart doctor?

Is it with stock cooling, & if so what sort of temps are you getting?

Cheers:respect:

once crossflashed with asus4770 TOp bios, one can use smartdoctor in order to raise gpu voltage!
The asus TOP bios also unlock gpu clock up to 1000 & mem clock up to 1200 in CCC!

Sweet. :toast:

Did you try the TR V2 yet?

Please post some screen shots of temps running furmark before and after.

Again good job with the flash. :pimp:

Smart doctor will allow OC of GPU but any change on mem causes lock up.:banghead:

No smart doctor CCC will allow 860/1060 no probs, any ideas.:(

Using latest ATI drivers. Do you use 9.5 or Asus drivers?

Do a clean uninstall and install of your drivers.
Make sure you have a good flash of the Asus TOP HD4770 first.
Go to Asus WEB site and download their driver support and install them only after you have a good flash of the Asus TOP HD4770 BIOS.
Do this at your own risk. Flashing may cause the card to not work.

Had the card flashed from day one, no probs. Will try clean uninstall & install with asus drivers then, as I have been using official 9.5s from ATI.

Will let you know, thanks for help.:respect:

Clean install of asus drivers worked a treat, decided though that gains were not worth the risks as temps climbed to 90C, clinchers was that GT legends wouldn't run with asus drivers.

Thanks for help though guys.:respect:

Not sure if anyone has answered first question, has anyone uses RBE to mod voltage on card.

Once you install a clean Asus driver from the begining you should be able to upgrade CCC drivers without any problems.

Do so at your own risks. I say this because I know alot of people have trouble getting ATI drivers to install and work properly. Good to see you partially fixed your problem.

I'd like to know if RBE can tune voltages. If so the ASUS top BIOS really isn't needed.
