Level Designer for Crytek commented on my video of Crysis Warhead!!

Martin Badowsky, one of the level designers for Crytek, commented on one of my videos of Crysis Warhead gameplay that I posted on Youtube. Check out the comment here.

When I saw the comment I didn't believe it was actually someone who took part in the design of Crysis but with a little research, I came up with the results below so he's the real deal!!

I checked gamespot for Crysis info:

then scrolled down to credits and there he was....

Then I found him on facebook and made a friend request (hopefully to get inside info on Cryengine 3 :laugh:

) and this resulted:

I know it's not like meeting a movie star or anything but being a huge fan of the Crysis I think it's awesome I've now got an inside connection at Crytek! :rockout:

I might have to try Warhead out...see if I can snag it for cheap, I didn't care for Crysis after a couple hours...went back to CoD4. But I've heard a bit more good about Warhead, might be worth a look! Nice video btw chaotic!

guys it's not that late to try both Crysis and Crysis Warhead.better late than never! both game are quite short but I can assure you you'll enjoy playing until the end. Storyline is not good tho but graphics with your powerful beast rig that can max out Crysis is just amazing.

I thought the story for Warhead was quite good.. at least the character development. Bulldog showed very good emotion. Pretty darn cool that the guy made the comment! :toast:

I agree, not to mention the gameplay...I like the feel of the game. Unlike COD 4 which feels less smooth, less realistic.

Crysis runs great on low resolutions with the graphics cranked up but as soon as you get in to the high res like 1920x1200 it starts to choke.

Blah, IMO meeting a game developer is a higher honour than meeting a movie star! It's awesome that he commented, he obviously thinks a lot of the game

I don`t know why people like the game so much Serious Sam was so much better especially graphics wise. Better game play not to mentions the story.

Serious Sam was nothing more than run and gun. The story was incredibly weak. The only thing SS was any good for was multiplayer Co-op, then things got really fun, especially as the enemies multiplied by the amount of players in the game.

In most ways Crysis is a better game IMO.

I play crysis at 1920*1200 at very high and it's stays smooth all game long with over 30fps average.
