From everything I've read so far, the answer is no. But I thought I'd post here to see if anyone had information to the contrary.

I was planning out an mITX GeForce 9400 build and saw that nVidia offered something similar to Hybrid Crossfire (which also has limited, waining support). The best review I've found paired an 8500GT with a 9300 (the 9400 has higher stock clocks).

Probably the two most irrelevant applications to bench in this situation, but the results are promising. Not so much the actual numbers, but the scaling and potential performance of future IGP+GPU combinations. Today it would be a 9400GT+9400 IGP, but that's not supported at this time. So actually getting to the point, is there any inclination from nVidia that they might continue improving upon GeForce Boost?

I had read that nvidia dropped geforceboost, i think that the 9400 doesn't even support the GBoost, but i might be wrong, it's still a really nice scaling but for the price of a new 8500GT add 10$ and you could get 4650, and that would kill the boost, besides if i recall i think they had some trouble with multiple monitor with GBoost, but not really sure it's been a while since it first appeared.

Exactly! My hope is that they continue it with newer GPU's so that we get closer to three-quarters decent performance :)

9400GT GPU doesn't, but the 9400 IPG does.

Exactly, if nVidia doesn't have plans to continue with it, I'd just throw in a 9600GT or whatever and forget about GeForce Boost.

Unless I misunderstood nVidia's site, GeForce Boost is a feature under Hybrid SLI. There is also a power saving mode, and you can also do Physx with the IGP along with number of different GPU's. What I'm after is a GeForce Boost, the SLIing of GPU and IGP.

Its a very temporary solution. Its limited to g9x-based GPU's I believe, and those will be replaced by dx 11 parts in the near future.

Well, this is what I'm going off of:

Hybrid SLI® technology, based on NVIDIA’s industry-leading SLI technology, delivers multi-GPU (graphics processing unit) benefits when an NVIDIA® motherboard GPU is combined with an NVIDIA discrete GPU. Hybrid SLI increases graphics performance with GeForce® Boost and provides intelligent power management with HybridPower™.

Hybrid is just the umbrella, and not all features have to be supported. In fact, the 9300 and 9400 IGP's don't support HybridPower at all.

I want it to work!!
then I can SLi my 8600GT with another card:p

You have too much power for this :D SLI with another 8600.

Extremely temporary (it seems) and limited. 8400GS and 8500GT are supported on the GPU side of things.
