Its one of 2 unlocked Xeons which go in LGA1366.

The X3580 and X3570 will both have unlocked multi's and also allow control on QPI and Uniclock multi's.

So the W3420 is the 920,

the W3540 is the 950/940

Which one is the 975/965

X3580 or X3570

and they are both unlocked multi's? but then is there only a stock speed difference?
