Monster cables are overpriced anyway, probably paid somewhere ~$50 for it. It's really their marketing, they get as much as possible from something that costs them maybe a dollar or two.

Yeah, it's a 7'. Sorry. I know they're overpriced, but they make some very quality things IMO. I've never had any of their things break (4 surge protectors, a 12ft HDMI, and this).

Surge protectors are okay, even component cables are okay, but an hdmi cable is a digital signal as long as it makes a connection it'll work the same a $3 cable to a $100 cable.
