$1700 is just the Pre-Order price one site is trying to get people to pay...

I doubt it will actually be thta high when it hits US e-tailers.

that card will absolutlely murder this card, burn it and throw it in a river in apps like 3dsmax and other professional apps, and its G200 cores are of the highest quality available at the time, Its a tiny bit overpriced but for developers its well worth the money,

this card is still ridiculously priced, you could buy a decent high end sli motherboard a good cpu and 2 watercooled GTX285's for that price

I agree with KainXS. As I was saying in another thread on the same subject, there isn't any immediate rush 2 get this card 4 me. With the games out today & in the near future there's no reason 4 that much meat & especially at that price. 2 good cards in PCI-E, Sli or Crossfire will satisfy my needs 4 a long time. Then, maybe, when they begin making the games that might need this monster I'll go that route. By then it will b much cheaper & will have good drv.s developed by then.

I buy everything top of the line....but I would never burn $$$$$$$$ on this pointless card that will get stomped by the r800's, wich are around the corner. Id rather rent a ferrari for a day!

If anyone read the write up they would see that the card uses two GTX285's. It should be faster than a standard GTX295, but $1700 is f**king rediculous :eek:

I think they should sell them in 2 packs, because theres no reason to buy 1 if a quad SLI of 295 is about 1000, this is a purchase for people that want the best setup, so only buying 2 makes sense. See if I were a millionaire, i would buy 2 of course
