monitor wipes

Which monitor wipes do you guys use and more importantly from which store?

I've used a few and haven't been too impressed (streaking etc)

I really need to go pick some up today.

First consult any documentation that comes with your screen. Depending on the material of the screen you may just need to use a high quality cloth and water.

I just use rubbing alcohol - I know people say it's bad for some screens and plastics, but I've used it on laptops and every other imagiable thing - either pour a bit on a soft cloth, or spay it on the surface from a spray bottle. Oh, and I recomend 90% if you can find it, but 70% will suffice - avoid 50% though because that stuff is bunk and leaves smears and spots.

Some you can like my Samsung 204B but with my HDTV you cannot has it has a gloss covering on the screen.

Water will be fine. Just in case your tap water is not all that good get a bottle from your local shop and use that with a soft fiber cloth.

Don't rush it and press gently..
