Finnish company Remedy Entertainment has stopped work on the PC version of Alan Wake and is now solely focused on developing the Xbox 360 version. Whether or not a PC version is released is now Microsoft's decision.
"Thank you for your continued interest in Alan Wake. It is accurate that we are currently working exclusively on the Xbox 360 version of Alan Wake," the studio said in a message to fan site BrightFalls.net. "PC plans are currently open, and therefore it's safe to say that at least a simultaneous launch with the Xbox version will not happen at this late stage.
“Other than that the plans are up in the air and open. Once we get this version done we’ll see.”
