Depends on what clock you want to reach. If you're looking for some extreme OC's I would recommend the Gigabyte boards. 3.8-4GHz shouldn't be a problem with any half decent board.

I'd recommend the UD4P. It's been nice to me.

Funny... temps have nothing to do with motherboards. There are a few boards that are easily the best out of the box. Gigabyte UD4, UD5, and Extreme (all the same really), and the Foxconn Bloodrage/Bloodrage GTI. The DFI x58 UT is good as well, but it needs some improvements. They keep releasing too many bios updates that fix one problem and make another.

YES this is one of the Best.I have my I7 920 CO step at 4.2 with Zero problems CPU voltage at 1.35 bios. This may seem high but my idle temps are 45ish and Prime 100% 70ish now please look at prime # with a little give and take nothing will use 100% load on that CPU it is a stress test only.If u get a good Ccpu COOLER YOU WILL GOOD 2 GO.i USE THE cOOLiT dOMINO and as a simple water cooler works great.
