Nah, there's not really any hit at 8 x 8 on PCI-E 2.0, I ran two HD4850's on my old Anus deluxe P45 and scored 23,500 in 3D Mark 2006 with them!

Lost mine years ago, am so used to not worrying about SLi/Crossfire configurations any more with this x58 board, forget about i7, just the options for multi card setups makes it worthwhile.

yes I have had 2 cards from them, no problems, I even had to RMA one of them (my fault.... bad flash) but I even told them and they still changed it... well kind of told them :)
